I did study a bit for Part 1 but did not study for Part 2 as I had a lot of commitments going on with sport and other things.
ReplyDeleteMy strengths in the test I think were equations and expressions, and my weakness was definitely factorizing.
I need to improve on factorizing, and word problems for the different types of Algebra as well as reading over the test after I have finished it.
4. A goal for the last two weeks is all round improving in Algebra, and revising more for tests as well as improving in all aspects of algebra.
1) I didn't study for part 1 but I did for part 2. For part 2 I just found some questions and answered them.
ReplyDelete2) I think my main strength on the test was factorising and simplifying because they become very simple when you know what to do.
3) I need to improve mainly on making equations based on word equations.
4) My goal for the next to weeks is to get better at solving word equations and to just work on equations.
Did you study for either part 1 or part 2 of this test? If so, what did you do: I studied mostly for part 1. I looked in my notebook and tried to remember the rules and how to do it.
ReplyDeleteWhat areas of the test would you say are your strengths? Why do you feel they are your strengths? I think that simplifying and expanding are easy for me because I find it quite easy, although I had some errors because I didn’t read or write it correctly.
What areas of the test so you need improvement on? What are they? I think I need to work on finding the equations, that was never easy for me.
Write a goal for the last two weeks: My goal for the last 2 weeks is to reading a problem and finding the equations, and read my answers a second time so that I can see If I made any mistakes.
1. I didn’t quite study for part one because I knew a few to solve the problems. I did study for part two because I knew it was going to be a difficult test. I studied about solving equations and factorising. I still get a bit confused but I manage to understand more.
ReplyDelete2. On the test my strenghts are simplifying expressions in part one and solving equations part two. I felt like it is a stength because I understood what I was supposed to do, but made a few mistakes. I did well with simplifying expressions but made one mistake.
3. I need more improvement on factorising because sometimes I get confused and in the test I didn’t do well on it. I also need more improvement on expanding and simplifying equations.
4. A goal for me is to understand more about solving equations in Part 2. I get confused easily so I want to learn it correctly. Also I have to read more careful and look for a negative sign when there is one in an equation.
1.
ReplyDeleteI did studied for both part 1and part 2 but not so much on part 2 of the test, to be more exact I revised at home by factorizing equations and simplify stuffs through the revision sheet we got from Mr Jobe .
2.
I don’t want to sound arrogant but in solving equations well I’m ok, I mean getting the equations right but also sometimes wrong but if I have to say which one i feel that I’m more comfortable when it comes to factorization.
3.
- Well for me I my strengths are simplifying expressions, solving equations and factorizing. I feel they are my strengths because I found them easy to be solve well not always easy but I don’t really “freak out” when I saw one of those problems.
4.
I think I need to improve in word equations because when I was solving them in the test I wasn’t able to figure out those problems and so I left them blank and I think that I just don’t understand them .
